RAPTURE is for everyone this is the time to follow in His Footsteps
1 THESS 4 - 13But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. 14For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. 15For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. 16For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 17Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.18Wherefore comfort one another with these words. - Also read 1 Corinth 15:51-53

Rahab the Prostitute and the 2 Hebrew Spies

                                                                Joshua Chapter 2

Joshua the son of Nun sent out 2 spies, they went to Jericho. They stayed at Rahab the harlot's house.
The king of Jericho, was told about the Israelite spies.
The king of Jericho sent word to Rahab to bring out the spies.
After hiding the two men, she claimed that though they came to her, she did not know where they went.
5 She told the king's men to chase after them quickly. .
6 She then hid them on the roof of the house under stalks of flax.
7 So the king's men pursued them.

9 She told the spies, she knew that the Lord hath given them the land, that all the inhabitants of the land were terrified of them.
10 Also how the Lord dried up the water of the Red sea for them, when they came out of Egypt and utterly destroyed the Amorite kings before them.
11 And their hearts melted because of Israel, for their Lord God, He is God in heaven above, and on earth below.
12 She asked them to protect her family in return for her help.

14 And the men agreed.
15 Then she let them down by a rope through the window, for her house was on the town wall..
16 And she told them to hide in the mountain, for three days, until the pursuers returned.
17 And the men said to her, "We swear to save you if you bring your family into your house and hang this red scarf on your window".
.19 "We are not to blame if your people go out of the house or if you tell of our agreement".
21 She agreed and sent them away, then bound the red scarf in the window.

God gives Joshua Instructions following the Death of Moses

                                                             Joshua Chapter 1

When Moses died, God told Joshua,  “My servant Moses is dead. So you and all the Israelite people get ready to cross the Jordan to the land I am about to give them. I will give you wherever you tread, as I promised Moses. Your land will be from the desert to Lebanon, and from the great river Euphrates to the Mediterranean Sea in the west. 5 All your life you will be unbeatable. I will be with you just as I was with Moses. I will never forsake you and will always be with you. Be strong and do not fear, because you will take these people to inherit the land I swore to their fathers to give them".

Joseph meets his brothers again after being sold into slavery by them

                                                          Genesis 42 - 45
When Jacob (Joseph's father) learned that Egypt had food despite the famine,
he sent 10 of his sons there to buy grain.
Joseph was in charge of the grain and his brothers came to him to buy some.
He recognized them, but pretended he did not know them and accused them
of being spies.
He then put them through several trials including prison, and sent one of
them back home to their father.
After more trials he finally revealed himself to his brothers and told them to
bring everybody back to Egypt including their father Jacob also known as Israel.

After two full years, Pharaoh dreamed a dream: As he stood by the Nile, seven cows came up out of the river, healthy and fat, and they were eating among the reeds. JOSEPH IN PRISON

Joseph in Prison
19 When Potiphar heard the story his wife told him, saying, “Look what your slave did to me,” he was very angry. 20 So he put Joseph in prison, the place where the king’s prisoners were locked up.
While Joseph was there in the prison, 21 the Lord protected him; he showed him kindness and made the  prison warden like him. 22 So the warden put Joseph in charge of all the other prisoners, and he was made responsible for all that happened there. 23 The warden had total confidence in Joseph’s care, because the Lord was with Joseph and let him succeed in all he did.

POTIPHAR'S WIFE ACCUSES JOSEPH

Genesis 39   Joseph and Potiphar's Wife

11 And it came to pass about this time, that Joseph went into the house to do his business; and there was none of the men of the house there within.
12 And she caught him by his garment, saying, Lie with me: and he left his garment in her hand, and fled, and got him out.
13 And it came to pass, when she saw that he had left his garment in her hand, and was fled forth,
14 That she called the men of her house, and spake unto them, saying, See, he hath brought in an Hebrew unto us to mock us; he came in unto me to lie with me, and I cried with a loud voice:
15 And it came to pass, when he heard that I lifted up my voice and cried, that he left his garment with me, and fled, and got him out.
16 And she laid up his garment by her, until his lord came home......

JOSEPH IS SOLD BY HIS BROTHERS

                                         GENESIS 37

24 And they took him, and cast him into a pit: and the pit was empty, there was no water in it.
25 And they sat down to eat bread: and they lifted up their eyes and looked, and, behold, a company of Ishmeelites came from Gilead with their camels bearing spicery and balm and myrrh, going to carry it down to Egypt.
26 And Judah said to his brothers, What profit is it if we slay our brother, and conceal his blood?
27 Come, and let us sell him to the Ishmeelites, and let not our hand be upon him; for he is our brother and our flesh. And his brothers were content.
28 Then there passed by Midianites merchantmen; and they drew and lifted up Joseph out of the pit, and sold Joseph to the Ishmeelites for twenty pieces of silver: who brought Joseph into Egypt.

JACOB AND ESAU

                                           Genesis 25

Esau sells his birthright for a pot of stew
29 On a certain day Jacob was cooking some stew, Esau, his elder twin brother, came in from the open country after hunting, he was very hungry. 30 He said to Jacob, “Quick, give me some of your stew! I’m starving!” (That is why he was also called Edom.)
31 Jacob said, "First sell me your birthright"
32 "I am almost dead" said Esau, "what good is my birthright now."
33 "Swear to me first." said Jacob. So Esau swore an oath and sold his birthright.
34 Jacob then gave him some bread and stew, which he ate and left.
Esau had despised his birthright as the elder brother.
